The Kranenbroeker Forest Runs are organized annually by the Recreational Sports Association Kranenbroek from September to April, each time on the second Sunday of the month. The course takes runners over well-maintained forest paths and country roads, providing a unique opportunity for participants to track their performance. Everyone can take part in the Kranenbroeker Forest Run, regardless of age or level, from competitive athletes to beginner runners and joggers. On Sunday, January 11, the fifth Forest Run of this season will take place in the Kranenbroek nature reserve in Echt, with distances ranging from 1 km to 10.5 km.
